This Webster Groves family didn’t come to Elevate Outdoor looking for a bigger backyard. They came looking for more time in it — mornings before school, evenings after work, weekends that didn’t need a destination because the destination was already home.
They had one rule that mattered more than any design choice: their young children needed to be safe around the water, without turning their own backyard into something fenced-off and separate from the house they loved. That single priority shaped every decision that followed.

Designing a Pool for a Sloped Backyard
Most homeowners assume a sloped lot rules out a pool. This one didn’t rule it out — it just changed where the pool needed to go. Elevate’s design team placed the pool at the top of the hill instead of fighting the grade, turning what looked like a limitation into the best vantage point in the yard.
A fiberglass pool made sense for both the site and the budget. The family chose ‘The Marvelous 35’ by Imagine Pools, anchored by a custom paver pool deck in County Materials ‘Grand Discover’ and natural stone wing walls that double as both structure and style.
